How to Naturally Get Rid of Toenail Fungus Fast | Top 7 Remedies You Need To Know

Toenail fungus is an infection that gets in through cracks in your nail or cuts in your skin. The most noticeable symptom is a white, brown, or yellow discoloration of one or more of your toenails. 1. Apple Cider Vinegar

It also helps to prevent the fungus from spreading and kills bacteria and fungi. Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and soak the infected area for 30 minutes daily. Make sure to thoroughly dry your foot after.

2. Baking Soda
Baking soda has the ability to dry up the excess moisture on your toes, and it will help neutralize foot odor and act as a toenail fungus treatment. When you combine baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, their antifungal properties will eliminate the fungus. Add ½ cup baking soda with 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide in a large foot basin. Add four cups of warm water and ½ cup of Epsom salts. Mix all the ingredients well. Soak your toenails in the solution for 10-20 minutes. Rinse off the solution with warm water. Pat your feet completely dry. Repeat two times daily for few weeks.

3. Garlic
Garlic has some antifungal and antimicrobial capabilities useful to foot fungus treatment, thanks to its compounds such as allicin and ajoene. Now apply this mixture on the affected toe by using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then scrub the nail by using toothbrush. 5. Listerine
Listerine contains ingredients such as menthol, thymol, and eucalyptus, which have antibacterial and antifungal properties. Its antiseptic properties work to keep away harmful bacteria and fungi. Mix ½ cup of Listerine, ½ cup of vinegar, 1 gallon of warm water, and 2-3 tablespoons of honey. Both honey and vinegar increase the antiseptic benefits of Listerine and help in treating toenail fungus. Mix all the ingredients well. Soak the infected toenail in the mixture for 30 minutes. Then scrub the toenail gently. Wash it off and make sure to dry your feet completely. Repeat this, one or two times in a day, until it heals.

6. Oregano Oil
Oregano oil contains thymol which has antifungal and antibacterial properties. Mix two drops of oregano oil in one teaspoon of olive oil. Apply this mixture on the affected toenail by using cotton ball. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Then wash it off and dry it completely. Repeat this, one or two times a day for three weeks for best results.

7. White Vinegar
Vinegar being slightly acidic, work to balance the pH of the skin. It also helps to prevent the fungus from spreading and kills bacteria and fungi. Mix one part of vinegar to two parts of warm water. Soak the affected toenail in the mixture for 10- 15 minutes. Then rinse your foot and dry it completely. Repeat this two times a day, every other day, until the fungus is gone.
