Homemade Natural Painkiller With 3 Ingredients to Relieve Pain in No Time

When you get out of the bed in the morning with a splitting headache or a sore back, the first thing you grab is the painkiller like Ibuprofen. You’re this habit might not be the best thing for your body. Over-the-counter pain medication, although popular, is not the best option for your long-term health. These common painkillers if used regularly, can bring some nasty side effects like chest pains, irreversible liver damage, and acid reflux, etc. Taking ibuprofen everyday results in decreasing effectiveness over time.

There are some healthy alternatives to these over-the-counter painkillers like Rosemary essential oil, Olive oil and Epsom salt, etc. Rosemary essential oil has clinically proven benefits that may relieve pain. Some researchers state that the rosemary plant may help treat headache, muscle and bone pain, and seizures. Rosemary may also reduce inflammation, relax smooth muscles, and boost memory. Olive oil is a natural painkiller.

Olive Oil May Have Pain-Relieving Properties. The olive oil also reduces swelling and soothes when massaged into sore joints and muscles. The magnesium-rich Epsom salt is a natural painkiller for bone and joint pain and muscle soreness. Epsom salt also deals with a painful splinter or even post-childbirth soreness.

Take 20 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 5 drops of rosemary essential oil and 10 tablespoons of Himalayan salt or Epsom salt. Mix all three ingredients in a glass jar and cover it with a lid. Then seal it and store it for 48 hours. Apply this mixture on the affected area as necessary when you wake up in the morning. If you have a headache, apply it on your temples. Massage the oil for few minutes and then leave it on for 20 minutes to soak. Then wipe off the remaining oil with a damp cloth. Follow this remedy for 10 days for better results.
