Home Remedies to Remove Warts Naturally

A wart is a small, fleshy bump on the skin or mucous membrane caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).
Warts are caused by various strains of HPV virus. Different strains may cause warts in different parts of the body. Warts can be spread from one location on the body to another or from person to person by contact with the wart. The main symptom is a fleshy, painless growth on the skin. Common areas affected include the face, hands, feet, and genitals. These warts can be eliminated by natural home remedies.

1. Castor Oil and Baking Soda
Castor oil is an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory remedy. The antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties of baking soda will help to destroy the wart. The mixture of castor oil with baking soda leaves us a rich solution with strong antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Take two tablespoons of castor oil, one tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl, and mix it well. Now massage this mixture on the area around the warts. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat this remedy three times a day, daily, until warts are cured.

2. Aloe Vera and Honey
The aloe vera gel has fantastic anti-warts properties. It has an anti-viral, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect as well as improve your skin’s appearance.

For this remedy you will need:
Mix one tablespoon of aloe vera gel with one tablespoon of honey in a bowl until you get a thick paste. Then dip some cotton into the mixture and apply on the affected area. Leave it on until it dries completely. Repeat this remedy three times a day until warts disappears.

3. Onion and Lemon Juice
The natural acids contained in the onion and their sulfur compounds combine with the vitamin C provided by the lemon which makes this mixture anti-viral and antibacterial and regulate the pH of your skin.

For this remedy you will need:

Mix three tablespoons of onion juice with one tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl. Then dip some cotton in the mixture and rub on the affected area. Follow this remedy three times a day for better results.

4. Garlic
It is one of the most effective and popular remedies for eliminating warts in a natural way. Garlic has a powerful antibiotic and antiseptic properties. A wart can be removed in two weeks by using crushed garlic and garlic juice. Rub the crushed garlic on the wart and hold in place with a bandage. This should be done twice in a day for better results.
